Baseball Snack Ideas Tips and Variations

  • You can always save time on the cookies by buying store bought sugar cookies. Buy them plain and ice them yourself instead of making them from scratch. During baseball season, you may even be able to find some cute baseball themed cookies!
    • An easy tip for getting a flat layer of icing is to add a dollop of icing onto the cookie and spread it evenly over the cookie. Ice all the cookies in this way then place them all icing side down on a sheet of wax paper. Gently press down. Place the wax paper in the fridge or freezer for about 10 minutes. Remove the cookies from the wax paper and now you have a flat surface of icing to add your designs and decorations!
  • Use mini sticks or toothpicks and place them into mini corn dogs for easy pick up and eating. You can also add ketchup and mustard packets on the side for the mini corn dogs or use small ramekins filled with the condiments for easier dipping.
  • Did you know Cracker Jacks don’t come in the boxes anymore? Now they’re sold in bags. It’s not as fun but hey, at least you still get the little toy!
