Cookies, coffee, and cocktails. Those three “Cs” are some of may favorites. They’re even better when a couple of them are combined into one.

In this instance, we’re combining cookies and cocktails to make this oatmeal cookie drink. It’s sweet, creamy, and one of our favorite homemade dessert cocktails.

With warm flavors of butterscotch and cinnamon, this delicious drink tastes just like a freshly baked oatmeal cookie!

It comes together in less than 5 minutes. Plus, it’s adjustable so you can make a large batch if needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make this into a large batch for a crowd?

To make a pitcher of this oatmeal cookie drink for a crowd, simply multiply the recipe by the amount you’ll need.

For example, if you plan to serve 15 people, multiply all the ingredients by 15. Pour them into a pitcher and serve.

Refrigerate the ingredients ahead of time so you can skip the ice and keep the drink from getting watered down.

A fun way to serve a large batch is by turning it into oatmeal cookie shots. Pour the cocktail into shot glasses so all your guests get a taste!

What are some ways I can garnish the glass?

For our oatmeal cookie drink, I prefer not to garnish the glasses. But, here are a few ideas if you decide to add one:

  • Cinnamon Sugar: Dip the rim of the glass (or the edge of your shot glass) into simple syrup followed by a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Either granulated or brown sugar works.
  • Cookie Crumbs: Dip the rim of the glass into caramel sauce followed by crushed oatmeal cookie crumbs.
  • Sanding Sugar: Wet the rim of the glass with simple syrup then dip it into gold or white decorating sugar or sanding sugar.

Can I use Fireball whiskey in place of Goldschläger cinnamon liqueur?

Fireball cinnamon whiskey works as a substitute in terms of the flavor, but it’s not the same type of ingredient. Fireball is whiskey and Goldschläger is cinnamon schnapps that tastes similar to red hots candy.

For the purposes of this drink, Fireball is fine. Just know that you’re actually removing schnapps and adding whiskey.

In some other instances, it may not be a good swap. Dekuyper brand cinnamon schnapps would also work, but it adds a pink hue to the cocktail.
