Preheat the oven to 425°F, and pour melted butter into a 9x13-inch pan.
½ cup unsalted butter
In a large bowl, combine the 4 ½ cups of Bisquick and sour cream.
1 cup sour cream
Stir in the 7-Up to form a sticky dough. Add more Bisquick 1 to 2 tablespoons at a time to make the dough manageable.
1 cup 7-Up
Sprinkle a work surface with ¼ cup of Bisquick. Transfer the dough to the work surface and sprinkle with another ¼ cup of Bisquick. Knead and fold the dough to incorporate the Bisquick then pat it into a rectangle.
Carefully place the dough into the pan, and press the dough to fit the pan. Try to keep it the same thickness throughout. It’s ok if butter comes up over the dough.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm with butter, jam, or favorite breakfast foods.
