or Cointreau

freshly squeezed lime juice

simple syrup

Fresh blackberries and lime wedges for garnish
Coarse salt or sugar for rimming the glass
Fresh mint leaves

Instructions
If you like a salted or sugared rim, rub a lime wedge around the rim of your margarita glass and dip it into coarse salt or sugar. Set aside.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, blackberry puree, triple sec, lime juice, and simple syrup.
2 ounces tequila,
1 ½ ounces store-bought blackberry purée,
1 ounce triple sec,
1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice,
1 ounce simple syrup
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.
Fill the prepared margarita glass with ice cubes. Strain the margarita mixture into the glass.
Garnish with fresh blackberries, a lime wedge, and a fresh mint leaf if desired.
