Line a large baking sheet with parchment or waxed paper. Set aside.
In a microwave safe bowl, heat the chocolate on half power, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth. Use separate bowls for different flavors or colors.

Pour the melted chocolate into tall mason jars or glasses.
One at a time, dip the pretzel rods into the melted chocolate, and allow the excess to drip back into the jar. If needed, use a spoon to help coat the pretzels. Reheat the chocolate occasionally if it begins to cool.

Lay the chocolate covered pretzels onto the prepared baking sheet.
Top with candy or sprinkles, then allow the chocolate to set before serving. If adding a chocolate drizzle, let the the dipped chocolate set first.
