Place the apple slices into a 6 or 7-quart slow cooker.
3 pounds apples
Add both varieties of sugar, butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg on top of the apples. Stir gently to combine the ingredients.
½ cup granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Cover and cook on LOW for 2-3 hours.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or homemade whipped cream.
