Wash and dry broccoli florets. Pour water into the Instant Pot, and place steamer basket on top of water. Place broccoli florets into steamer basket and season with salt and pepper if desired.
3 cups broccoli florets, ½ cup water
Close the lid and set valve to sealing. Use the manual (pressure cook) button to adjust the time to 0 minutes for crunchy/firm broccoli or 1 minute for softer broccoli.
After the time is up, open the valve for a quick release of pressure. Remove the lid and serve immediately.
