In a large bowl, combine the popcorn, peanuts, and chocolate candy, and butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Set aside.
10 cups plain popcorn, 1 cup peanuts, 1 ½ cups plain M&Ms
In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and marshmallows, stirring frequently. Pour the marshmallow mixture over the popcorn mixture. Stir to combine.
½ cup unsalted butter, 45 large marshmallows
With buttered hands, press the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Allow to cool for at least an hour before cutting into squares and serving.
Store covered at room temperature for up to 5 days.
