Preheat your oven to 350°F and prep a cookie sheet or a silicone mat.
Using a stand or hand mixer, beat the butter and cream cheese until fluffy (about 3 minutes). Add the sugar and mix another 2-3 minutes until light in color

Now, form the dough into a dough and wrap with plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
After the dough sets, place on a lightly floured surface and roll out to 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Use cookie cutters to cut out desired shapes and sprinkle with decorating sugar or sprinkles.

Last, bake for 8-12 minutes. Remove them from the oven and transfer to a cooling rack. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for 4-5 days.
