Preheat the oven to 375°F, and lightly grease a 2-quart or 11 x 8.5-inch baking dish.
Combine the flour, sugar, milk, butter, and baking powder. Pour the batter into the baking dish.
1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 cup granulated sugar, ⅔ cup whole milk, ½ cup unsalted butter, 1 teaspoon baking powder
Mix the strawberries and sugar together, and carefully scoop the berries over the batter.
3 cups strawberries, 1 cup granulated sugar
Bake for 40-50 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
